So it is paved - the slabs will still be swept and tamped tomorrow but it is already great not to have to walk through mud around the house anymore.

The driveway will be done tomorrow as well.

We had water in the basement today. On Monday, electricity and telecommunications (fiber optic) were connected via the multi-utility connection. Last night and this morning, it rained. At noon today, we saw water in the pit and thought we would take a look. The liquid was already dripping in quite a bit.
At 1 pm (one hour later), the municipal utilities were already there. It was then found that the telecommunications company had not screwed in their connection properly, and thus the rainwater came out of the pit [emoji35] Luckily, we discovered it right away.

Morning When the driveway is finished.

Otherwise, not much has changed since yesterday.

I filled in gravel between the garage and the neighbor's property (20 wheelbarrows full) with fleece underneath, hopefully no weeds will grow through.

When I hear stuff like this... I really wonder what these idiots are actually doing while doing their job? Are they playing on their phones? Do they have the attention span of a housefly?! How can you forget something like that? Unbelievable! If they can't reliably keep routine tasks in their heads and perform them with focus, they should just make a checklist and work through it. It's really crazy what customers have to put up with.
