As promised, our foundation slab was poured today.

By the way, not 20cm, but 25cm. I guess that’s what the structural engineer wanted.

Normally the base slab looks incredibly tiny but with you it looks huge. How many square meters do you have?

Yes, it is 203 sqm of floor space. But in the foreground is also the large double garage with an adjoining workshop area. I think the perspective also makes it look even bigger.

Was it already finished in your photo?
It looks very poorly smoothed.

Yes, now that you mention it. So at the time of the photo, they were finished in the front area of the picture and the concrete was still missing in the back. I don't know if they smoothed it everywhere afterwards. I don't think so.

that is the biggest foundation slab I have ever seen in my life. And I have seen quite a few/many! crazy
