You have an almost flat plot of land, why are you piling up so high?
Yes, the pictures are misleading. In the part not shown (so basically further to the right of the picture) there will be a road later, which currently still ends at the last existing house (the white house in the photo). The road surface edge is 1.4m above the current ground level. Therefore, we have to pile up in the north to reach the future road height. How much it will be in the end, we do not know yet. But it will be quite a bit. At least we can use our excavated soil for it and save disposal costs. The slight slope can also be seen when comparing the pegged heights. In the background, you can see the finished floor edge of the neighbor (about 70cm above ground level).
3 months delay? Hope for you that this was the only delay. That sounds like a bumpy start
Unfortunately, the builder sold more houses than the referred craftsmen could handle... We also have an appointment for a feedback meeting with the seller in the next few days. Fortunately, it is not a developer we are dependent on until the end. We can do without the builder from the start of construction, since all trades are contracted directly with craftsmen and the builder no longer has any shares in the construction.
