No, one, there is a mother-in-law apartment. A second one could be retrofitted. Everything is controlled: lights, shading where blinds are installed, photovoltaic system without storage. And heating I still have to check since there is only a local heating transfer station. Unfortunately, this is still the generation that cannot communicate directly with Loxone. The music server will be replaced by the new audio server in the next few days.

After over 3 months of delay, things are finally starting for us as well. Last week, the string line framework was approved. That was also the first time we really saw where the top edge of the finished floor will be (top edge of the boards = 1.4m above ground level). Fortunately, we still have enough time to plan the garden

You have an almost flat plot, why are you building up so high? I know pictures can be deceiving but that is at most 50cm from one side to the other.

3 months delay? Hope for you that it was the only delay. That sounds like a rough start

Yes, the pictures are misleading. In the part not shown (so basically further to the right of the picture) there will be a road later, which currently still ends at the last existing house (the white house in the photo). The road surface edge is 1.4m above the current ground level. Therefore, we have to pile up in the north to reach the future road height. How much it will be in the end, we do not know yet. But it will be quite a bit. At least we can use our excavated soil for it and save disposal costs. The slight slope can also be seen when comparing the pegged heights. In the background, you can see the finished floor edge of the neighbor (about 70cm above ground level).

Unfortunately, the builder sold more houses than the referred craftsmen could handle... We also have an appointment for a feedback meeting with the seller in the next few days. Fortunately, it is not a developer we are dependent on until the end. We can do without the builder from the start of construction, since all trades are contracted directly with craftsmen and the builder no longer has any shares in the construction.

I would be cautious there, I've seen a lot. You should have someone by your side who keeps an eye on the craftsmen. And also when it comes to [additional services], which are often billed at an excessive price. I know that, every socket added costs extra..
