I have to admit that I find the entrance a bit "lifeless". I first had to look closely to see where it is. And without something covered, standing there in the rain or winter isn't very nice. Or is something still coming? Otherwise, quite a big brute, the exterior dimensions are impressive.

Yes, you could say that. He is constantly tinkering with how to build even more energy-conscious and ecological (that's why I want to first hear how he explains this type of geothermal energy before I believe that the efficiency is supposed to be worse). His latest gimmick: screw foundations. Earth screws are used, on which a wooden floor slab rests (for houses without basements), which is ventilated from below, so it is a few centimeters above the ground. It goes pretty fast, and the ecological advantage: if the house is ever dismantled, the floor slab is taken apart as wood (and the wood is somehow reused, even if only as firewood) and the screws are simply unscrewed from the ground and that's it! You can see it on his homepage, construction projects 2018, house of Evelyn and Bernhard; go to "Haus Evelyn und Bernhard" under the picture, then you can see pictures.

very beautiful house! I really like the gable roof without eaves visually, I would only be a bit worried about the facade. I also find the different window sizes bold but the overall package is right

: finally not an oversized house! How big will it be? Great area!

Wood is an expensive item in demolition. A cubic meter of reclaimed wood costs more than a cubic meter of concrete/rubble.

Currently, almost every piece of wood that has seen a saw or axe is considered contaminated.

No, we have not moved in yet.....

Of course it still looks lifeless, nothing has been designed in the exterior area yet! Trees will still be planted, the paved areas are still missing, the roofing, and so on and so forth.... the scaffolding was only just taken down yesterday.
