We agreed on three special requests with the carpenter - window seat including built-in shelves and country-style staircase. For that, we are foregoing things like smart home and basement (we have 2 storage options + a basement substitute room at the garage instead. Hopefully that will be enough ).

Our priorities were more toward "coziness and comfort," if you can call it that... without wanting to disparage other priorities!!!

I wish you that there’s some budget left over because such a cabinet is, in my opinion, super practical and how else do you effectively use the space under the stairs...?!?

Yesterday the filigree ceiling elements were delivered to us.



Unfortunately, they did not deliver the installation boxes. Now there are only holes there. Actually, the reinforcement was supposed to be installed today and I wanted to lay the empty conduits over the weekend. The in-situ concrete was supposed to come on Tuesday. Of course, now none of that will happen.

Amazing what a huge house this is - may I ask how many square meters it is?
