It's been hectic here, so a longer broadcasting pause from me. But things have progressed a bit further.
First, the beams were installed:
Then, sand-lime bricks were placed on the ceiling between the basement and the ground floor for impact sound insulation:
The paths not covered with sand-lime bricks are for the controlled residential ventilation ducts.
And then everything was securely packed so that nothing would happen over the weekend:
And so that no one gets the idea to walk on it:
What I unfortunately didn’t capture in pictures: the installer is already hard at work in the basement installing the heating system. The poor guy can’t get out of the basement all day, and it’s gotten quite cold down there now. He only sees the sun during breaks.
On Monday, the ceiling between the ground floor and the upper floor was delivered; but first, the load-bearing walls on the ground floor were erected:
And then the ceiling was placed on top:
Now you can slowly get a spatial impression of the ground floor; granted, since the interior walls are more skeletons than real walls, it’s still a bit difficult, but you get a first impression.
The ridge beam is also now in its place, up here at the top (photo taken from the scaffolding):
Where the orange formwork panels are lying now will later be our open space above the dining table. But for working, it’s simply more comfortable this way.
And now the same routine as on the ground floor: laying the impact sound insulation!
We finished that today as well, and finally, everything was packed up again as a precaution:
The weather is supposed to hold tomorrow, and we hope it works out that the roof will be on by tomorrow evening so that we can calmly face Wednesday, when rain is forecast.
So tomorrow, the load-bearing walls in the upper floor must first be erected and then the already finished roof parts waiting to be installed will be placed. It will surely be exciting!
