The lawn looks good after all... and not like the face of an old man
Our lawn, seeded a week ago, is already sprouting. At the moment, the weather is at least ideal for the lawn. Personally, I would prefer a real summer

The old man is somewhat obscured by the angle of the shot - we still need to reseed a bit (at the edge of the pavement and also a little here and there in the middle)

Just as a side note:
I wanted to build cheaply - not cheaply... unfortunately, it didn't work out!

What did it end up being? More expensive than expected or a lot of stress and questionable execution?
We don’t have such a fancy manhole cover - ours are plastic

P.S.: did a giant bird mess up at your window?

Mainly stress. We were still able to scrape together the money for the many additional claims. But the frustration is still there! I don't want to evaluate the execution of the trades as a layperson. I can only say what 2 experts said: partly shoddy work and this is built differently. Even for a new build, some major blunders were allowed - as a builder, you also lose interest in this company. It's not normal to go to the construction site with a bad feeling... PS: the manhole cover is a pumping station for wastewater.

Always remember that the expert is paid to nitpick Change orders are of course a pain - but everyone has them - whether because a detail was missing in the construction specifications, the soil was softer, or it had to be the whirlpool after all.
