I think that is misleading because of the insulation? It looks more like 15cm to me...
Where do the 20cm come from? No electrician gave us a requirement about this, only about the spacing of the boxes, which should be 15cm...

10cm distance from the window to the vertical installation zone.
Can, maybe Should, but not Must.

But the standard specifies 20cm and not 10cm. If an electrician does it that way, it is a defect.

This is what our construction site looked like last week. By now, some of the basement walls should be standing and at the front in the non-basement area, a structural foundation wall.

BTW: How large can an image file be here? I had to compress it twice to get it under 1 MB.

Dear friends of house building,

for a week we had snow on the roofing membrane and the battens. Of course, nothing could be done then. But on Monday the roofer arrived with a one-week weather-related delay, and on Tuesday the roof was finished. Today the scaffolding was taken down.

Now we are waiting for dry weather and frost-free nights so that the basement can be sealed and insulated. Then we'll continue.
