OSB boards act as a vapor retarder or vapor barrier. That means any moisture beneath the OSB board cannot pass through. Therefore, it is generally recommended to insert a ventilation layer between the insulation and the OSB boards or, instead of OSB boards, to lay tongue and groove boards, as tongue and groove boards are moisture-permeable. These are my layman’s knowledge. Whether this is different with concrete ceilings, I do not know.
Did you install it yourselves or have it installed?

Our company did it. I hope they know what they're doing. I will put my hand underneath it on the next visit..

Yes, in front of the masonry and the sill plate the plaster is quite dry, but at the height of the ring beam it is not yet. The heating will be put into operation at the beginning of next week, then it will dry.

so.. the kitchen is slowly finished. After the missing part of the countertop finally arrived, the sink and the LeMans could be installed right away. Over the weekend, I will still do the missing finishing strips and baseboards. Only the front for the dishwasher has to wait. A technician still has to come. New Bosch model with all sorts of fancy features, but the dishes don’t get clean.. oops:

I find the LeMans pull-out - despite the criticism that a "dead corner" is more economical - very good. We used to store the pots in an 80 cm drawer before, but with the LeMans you can simply reach everything more nicely from all sides.

I am also very happy with the sink, finally you can put a whole baking sheet in!

I am currently still converting the lighting to warm white. I originally wanted neutral white in the kitchen, but that doesn’t work with the open living/dining area. The different color temperatures bother me there.

The large oak dining table will also be moving in soon..

Looks good, however a sink without a draining board would not be for me. We very often have something drying on it, or used items that still need to be washed. What kind of tiles are those, I really like them!

Best regards
Sabine
