The trees are from the local nursery. Two London plane trees stand around the terrace. They cost 500-600 euros each in the size (approx. 5m high).

You buy the expensive stuff from Kann and Co. and then are afraid to just quickly pressure wash it?

I also buy an expensive car and don’t drive it through the 0815 car wash... You remove the top coating of the stones with the high-pressure cleaner. As a result, the stone absorbs dirt, verdigris, etc., which you will never get out again. It’s the same with tiles and grout. If you clean it with chemical weapons like Bref, Cillit Bang, etc., the top coating dissolves and mold, discoloration from shower gel, shampoo, etc., settles more easily.

I think that is our stone. We used the slabs, not the pavers. They break quickly. Some broke while laying and also in the terrace itself. Just saw it yesterday.
The pavers are thicker, so better to take those than the thin slabs.
Otherwise, it is very prone to dirt. But it feels great.

: Sunlight exposure is not a big problem, but they still don't get too dark. The advantage of the Arctia Betonplus is that there is a concrete slab at the bottom and on top a 2cm ceramic slab, so no sealing or anything like that. We expect very good durability from that!

: I thought so, because the Betonplus are, I think, 5 or 6cm thick or even 8cm if you take the drivable version. If we take them, the slabs will be 80x40.
