What color? And what kind of steps?The stairs are only fully painted after plastering and the screed has been installed. Then the proper steps will also be added. The current ones are quite rustic.

The floor slab is always really nice. We seriously considered whether it would be sufficient as a doghouse for the dog.

Hello Katja, We quickly agreed on the steps. They will be glued laminated oak. We will only decide on the color of the metal construction after our appointment with the painter. Until then, the shade will still be passionately debated. It will probably be a whiteish black slightly shifting towards silver, or a blackish white-gray, or maybe even an aluminum-colored anthracite-like white. In any case, it remains exciting. Höki, great with the roof truss! When did you start construction?
Our ground floor has been finished masonry since yesterday. On Wednesday the precast concrete ceiling will come. Luckily, the real shell shock did not occur, but the kids' rooms are not huge with an average of 12 sqm. Here in the old house, we only have 9, 10, and 11 sqm in some cases. So fortunately, we were prepared for that. But the shell already feels a bit "walled in" [emoji23]
It was the same for us. Mh, we should have made it smaller or this is too small, it will never fit. Somehow, things appear different during the shell construction. We have 2 exactly equally sized kids' rooms, but they seem totally different in size. Some miscalculations were made.
