Seen often in house magazines lately (new trend?): Optimal and targeted use of space.

When I saw the first picture (in front of the house) I thought: How is it supposed to work to build a house there??

The result convinces with its cleverness. Incredible how it now fits in there. That certainly took a lot of planning and coordination.

Thank you very much! That makes me happy.

Our house truly does not play in the league of your beautiful city villa (and Koblenz is definitely nicer than Velbert...). Unfortunately, I was a bit short on the little €-beans for such a city villa.....laugh/smile. According to the development plan and everything, I would have been allowed to build one. The architectural style of the city villa appeals to me, really great. Especially the utilization of space and I simply like it, as a type of house. Well - if only I had started saving 15 years earlier. That just wasn’t possible at the time.

Everything shown here so far has turned out beautifully in my opinion. Wonderful, the various architectural styles and what has come out as a result. The idea of the thread starter is great.

People are rightly pleased with their results.

Hopefully many more will have the courage to post their building projects here.

Then it will become a nice, colorful "regulars' table thread," where one always likes to take a look and enjoy how well, beautifully, and individually other people and families do their things.

When I press the like button here (which happens often), it’s not a favor.
But clearly due to the fact that I really like what I see in reality.

Best regards
Thorsten

: I like the pavilion. Is it fixed in place?

: My grandmother used to say: Rome is in the smallest hut. At the moment we need the space of a bigger house, but our dream is to spend our retirement in a small house on the coast.

I can only agree. Great thread. Thanks for that. I would also find a few key data about the houses interesting (e.g. exterior dimensions, living space, construction type, with or without basement, total costs so far (if anyone wants to disclose)).
