I am a bit jealous that everything is progressing so quickly for you everywhere. Here it feels like work only starts when I ask about it. The week before last, the exterior basement walls were erected, last Wednesday two small walls were built, and since then the construction site has been at a standstill. Well, now it is naturally too cold for masonry. Originally, the basement ceiling was supposed to be done next Monday and Tuesday, but that probably won't happen without the walls.

Maybe you'll feel better knowing that elsewhere things are moving even slower. This here is, believe it or not, what has been "accomplished" since construction began (KW46'17!) – and that only thanks to the commitment of our architect – otherwise the shell builder would probably still be dithering...

When neighbors talk to us, we now always say that we've started with the natural pool, which is already looking good, and we're currently filling it with water [emoji6]
I've stopped getting upset, it doesn't speed anything up and only causes (even more) gray hairs. After it was said "KW2" it would really start, we're now in mid-February... [emoji849] Punctuality and clear communication, among other things with the customer (!), really seem to be a rarity in the construction industry. If I worked like that... [emoji85]

Oh, I feel for you.
In mid-October, I was told that if everything goes smoothly, the roof could already be on by Christmas; at least the basement and ground floor would be standing...

I always think the same. I would have been bankrupt long ago.

If it comforts you: apart from a sign, we don't have anything on the property yet. Not even a hole [emoji23]. At the beginning, it was said that construction would start in autumn 2017. Well...

is that a WU basement? If yes, it has to stand first before the ceiling goes on it
