Stairs covered with natural stone also feel more like a public stairwell to me; I wouldn't want that in the living area, even though it's done stylishly.
I don’t like wood-look tiles either, but if people like them... fine. It’s good that such things exist now.
Tiles throughout the entire floor would be a nightmare for me too. But many people have tiled living rooms, and yes, with underfloor heating it’s not cold on the feet, but cozy is somehow different...

No, I don’t like it even then. Just the feel alone is not my thing.

So I had to "feel" quite a few wood-look tiles to see whether they are parquet or tiles

The furniture will be white, yes.

What I don’t like about tiles is that they are cold underfoot and they always are in summer because in well-insulated houses the underfloor heating doesn’t run for 6-8 months. That’s why we only have tiles on the bathroom floor. But anyway, everyone has to feel comfortable in their own building.
