House Pictures Chat Corner - Show off your house pictures!

It's slowly moving forward! With the electrician, we have now decided where which switches and sockets, as well as TV and network connections, will go, and where which lamps and how (heavens, that was a tough birth!)

For the outdoor area, we still have to do that *groan*

The plumbers have already been busy; we at least have the flush tanks for the toilets installed now!


And our house was the main protagonist in an article in the magazine "Allgäu Alternativ". The main focus was on the still quite unusual wooden basement.

Why do you regret the choice

The faucet is too high for me.

This is the XXL version and looks long-legged.

The washbasin is perfect for me; I definitely wanted a narrow one (1 m wide) with 2 faucets and only one basin.

I like it best this way.

It is actually meant for the children.
When they brush their teeth together.

I don't find it now. At least something fits underneath.

Why does it look in the second picture as if a calcium silicate stone zone and a flowing screed zone are merging into each other?

The ventilation pipes are embedded in cement.

the shiny stainless steel(?) corner strips on the tiles. Cheaper aluminum strips would have been matte and, in my opinion, fit significantly better with the currently trendy concrete-look tiles.

I think it's brushed stainless steel. We have tiles with the same appearance and I really wanted something matte with them. Result: it looked extremely cheap and simply not nice in combination, so we went with stainless steel. It actually looks neutral and doesn't "disturb."
