Dear friends of house construction,

after all preparations have been made today, the geothermal drilling can begin tomorrow.

Best regards

Axel

That's true, only the splash water will not have such a long way into the gutter. Strange that this concept is so unknown here. Our tiler only does it that way and has only received positive feedback from all other builders.

Splash water has to be drained one way or another, and the water flows away because of the slope.
I don't see any advantages with the drain at the front.
Optically, it's a matter of taste,
and I prefer it at the back.

Do you have a controlled residential ventilation system? We had thought the same, but were advised against it because with controlled residential ventilation there is always a "draft" to be felt. Now we have decided to install a door between the entrance area and the living area after all, which we originally did not want.

The shower drain at the front really looks a bit odd visually, especially since anyone who sees it immediately thinks it was done sloppily...

The niche in the wall without finishing strips... also looks incomplete, in my opinion. The finish just looks untidy/unfinished.

We only have 2 doors on the ground floor. One to the WC and one to the utility room. The rest is open. In our case, heating is even done via the controlled residential ventilation. I did not feel any draft, unless you stand directly in front of the air outlet.
