I did not like the Twistpad. Brands don't matter to me and my husband. In the kitchen studio, we simply tried out different induction cooktops and chose the one we liked.
In terms of price, you probably end up the same whether you buy and replace cheap devices every 2-3 years or buy something higher quality once that lasts longer.
However, for example, the temperature control is significantly better with Miele than with BSH and thus Neff.
And to stay on topic, also a photo of the beginning of the stairs...

But we are still talking about Neff here, right? Or have we unnoticedly switched to Gorenje and the like? (Which, by the way, also last significantly longer than 2-3 years)
BSH is far less homogeneous than often assumed; only Bosch and Siemens are usually identical in design. Neff is completely differently positioned in terms of which devices (and features) even exist. And that the temperature distribution at BSH is generally supposed to be poor—try telling that to a Gaggenau customer. This is also not reflected with the other (established) BSH brands, neither in daily use nor in test results. At least not to an extent that would justify the price difference.

I think the color of the stair steps is great chosen to match the flooring. Light, but not too clinical. Matching the floor, but still enough difference so you don’t think you tried to match the floor exactly but didn’t manage it.
Please don’t reply now that this isn’t the final color XD
that's exactly how it was intended. Beech wood oiled white. I find regular beech ugly, everything else was too expensive for us. That's why this compromise, which really turned out well.
Ps I never claimed anywhere that Neff is a cheap brand.
