In principle, I'm not really a fan of drywall either. I grew up in a timber-framed house with drywall walls.

But with the ceiling on the upper floor, I don't see it as that tragic. Besides, you can quite easily install spots on the upper floor this way, of course without damaging the vapor barrier.

Doesn't the 18015-3 even explicitly state that cable installation directly on the wall is under no circumstances permissible?

I am also just an amateur and am not so familiar with the relevant DIN standards that I could recite them, but the laying zones derived from them naturally prohibit cable installation directly at the edge. I would "practically" overlook this in the case of a single cable (there is also the edge insulation strip directly above), but not with such a bundle. I also had this discussion with my electrician - of course, there was initially a "We've always done it this way," but it was then corrected without any problems after a brief consultation of the DIN.

So, we have some new photos from us again. The flooring is now 95% installed, the walls are painted, lighting is installed inside and outside, stair lighting, railings, interior doors, the dressing room is finished, so we can already move the first things in.

Tomorrow, another 8 pieces will follow. Afterwards, approximately 50m2 of stepped natural stone wall.
