Hello everyone,

nice to hear that some of you actually like it. The construction style and the interior design do not really correspond to the typical ideal image of most home builders.

Except for the window frames, all built-in furniture, the staircase, and the wooden floors are walnut. I am an admirer of old Bauhaus houses, so we were inspired by some details, among others, from the Villa Tugendhat (light floors, dark wood, large glass elements especially in the living area and foyer, strong connection to the outside area, floor-to-ceiling doors). Only the colorful accessories are still missing.

The roof terrace will still get a wooden floor structure, so the parapet is not sufficient as fall protection. However, this is intentional in order to deliberately block out the neighboring buildings while maintaining the view into the distance. There will probably be a flat steel railing added.

Best regards

Walnut is very brave and actually belongs to a different generation. But the overall concept is right. You did have something in mind. It has a very cozy component. There are definitely some winning sightlines in this house, very chic, spacious, and “tidy.”

For me, it somehow has a touch of Rietveld,

It's far too plain, clean, neat, and uncomfortable for my taste. Certainly very nice for enthusiasts of this style.

This is an absolute dream house, extremely stylish! I am convinced that anyone who expresses it differently is speaking pure envy.

Certainly not from this one:

The Bauhaus style is simply not very home textile tolerant.
