Dear friends of house building,

On Thursday and Friday, our windows were installed.

Best regards

Axel

it is only the raw subfloor. As long as there is a reasonable level of flatness, it is ok. A few more layers will still be added.

How high did you choose your front door? I just read online that clear agreements about the front door are often missing and then doors that are too small are installed. For us, the contract was thoroughly reviewed by the expert and also renegotiated quite a bit. However, he didn’t say anything about the front door and the terrace doors either. I am 189cm tall and the door will probably be made 2 meters high if nothing else is specified. I can’t change anything about that now. Or would that be enough for you?

Actually stupid, because for the interior doors we had explicitly agreed on deviations.... why do you then forget the front and terrace doors. Damn.

EDIT: I think we are lucky with the front door, even if we didn’t pay attention to it.

Definitely not with the terrace doors to the roof terrace.

The sliding door to the garden is 2.26m high though. So the worst is averted. Still annoying though at the top.

Floor-to-ceiling, 260cm. The surcharge was only €200 from 225cm, I think.

Our terrace doors and front door are adapted to the height of the ground floor. Since we went a bit higher here, both would also be higher. But I don’t know how high exactly right now. It is definitely high enough that my husband should actually clean the windows on the ground floor [emoji23]

So today I played Dexter [emoji16]
