Quick OT again… can you quickly say why you chose this car? I just fired up the configurator, it offers a lot for relatively little money.

extremely fair leasing offer (MAZDA MX-30 e-SKYACTIV with Komfort + Premium Package at a leasing factor of only 0.6! = €232.41 net for 15,000 km/year. Down payment = BAFA share (6K). Can do everything I need. Is initially for three years. Then there will be better ones. I once requested an offer for an id4 just for fun. Good €600 with almost one year delivery time! The Mazda will arrive before Christmas. Electronically top, ecologically currently the best in my opinion

Sorry for the off-topic, but: To call an SUV "ecologically currently in my opinion the best" is somewhat blind

I'll say it provocatively: Better an electric SUV than a sports coupe.... This SUV talk annoys me by now. What about the VW bus, what about mopeds, what about sports cars? Why is the SUV always put in the spotlight? My GLC consumes on average (and I drive quite fast) 7.5l / 100 km. If I were to drive slower/more environmentally conscious, it would easily be 6.5 l / 100 km.

Eyes open: the MX30 is a purely battery electric vehicle (BEV), Mazda provides a life cycle assessment starting from the first screw, very high recycled material in the car etc. The MX30 is not a conventional "SUV" Comparisons are naturally flawed with bicycles (I have one too), airplanes or ships :p. "ecologically currently the best in my opinion" compared to another car. Name me one that performs better, I’m happy to learn...

Just because a car comes with an electric drive doesn’t automatically mean it is more ecological. Compare your e-SUV with an e-compact car or something golf-sized (with electric drive). An SUV usually has a greater weight than a "standard" car but still no more usable space (trunk etc.). No one can really make a comparison between an SUV (almost no storage space) and a (VW) bus (a lot of storage space). These are completely different usage scenarios. (6.5l when driving environmentally consciously and slowly is really not that little. I hope we’re talking about petrol and not diesel, because that would be a lot) We need to slowly move away from the (USA-inspired) trend of always wanting to drive bigger cars. Often a smaller size will do.
