I just checked. In our current block (pull-out with inner pull-out, Schüller) our glasses don’t fit. It would have to be a large pull-out.

We’re just considering whether to install the shelf again in the new home. It’s right in front of your head. Currently, it doesn’t bother us since it’s a closed kitchen. However, I can’t imagine it being very nice in an open living concept.

With me, the glasses are like Matte's, under the BO.

Glasses above the cooktop??? Don't they always have a film of grease?

For us, they are in a shelf above the dishwasher, which is in a tall cabinet (because it is raised). I don't find a pull-out tray practical for taller glasses like champagne glasses or wine glasses, as I fear shards when opening it briskly.

No grease film, neither on the glasses / cups nor on the shelf itself. The Bora does a good job.

Taller glasses (wine, sparkling wine, etc.) are currently in the living room with us. The bottle usually moves to the living room to the glasses.

I prefer to keep my regular everyday glasses (for me this also includes wine and champagne glasses!) near the dishwasher because I’m a lazy person and don’t always want to carry the freshly washed glasses into the living room but rather directly from the dishwasher to the shelf.

My very fine lead crystal glasses are in the dining area in a lowboard. However, they are only taken out very rarely because I (see above) am lazy and don’t like washing by hand, but lead crystal must not go in the dishwasher.
So they are used very rarely and only on special occasions, and then after hand washing I can carry them into the dining room.
But for daily use I prefer it to be practical.
