I and my computers have always been too slow for that. ;-)

You probably have to take it with humor, anything else would drive you crazy when you look at the massacre^^ I postponed this decision for a long time, surely because you could also do "more important" things with the money, but the look now does make me a bit sad;-)

Nowadays, a lot can be done with lighting technology, thanks to LED! I especially find indirect lighting effects appealing. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to realize any of those yet.

That's true :). For example, we have an LED strip above the bathtub. My daughter (2) loves it and always asks for green :p

The silicone joints are still missing here. The bathroom wasn't completely finished yet.

I treated myself and installed four "high-end" LED spots in the ground floor bathroom with colors and dimmer adjustable by remote control as well as other gimmicks (fade, strobe, ...). Our bathtub fell victim to the renovation and the associated restructuring of the bathroom. We haven't missed it yet ...

Hey, if that's all it is: you did everything right!

Yes, I agree on the path layout.

Since the kitchen island is reachable from the bench at the dining table, the toaster is perfectly placed there; we don’t want to have to stand up to toast. Coffee is made by a non-automatic machine that makes quite a mess but wonderful coffee. Of course, the Barbara behind the splash guard of the cooktop must not be missing, and a few cooking oils are also ready. It makes for a somewhat cluttered but practical corner. Snapshot from the bench side:

Oh yes: boiling water comes from the Grohe Red here – but I think I will prefer the Quooker "next time," since the Red had to be reset several times already (fuse off and on) and has also had some customer service experience.
