It continues. The inspection shaft was installed outside. The technical room is slowly living up to its name. The heat pump is coming tomorrow and is scheduled to be operational on Wednesday. Water will be connected to the house tomorrow and Telekom is planned for next Friday.

I also want to contribute something again, even if it’s not much. For us, things are somehow progressing a bit slowly. The cleanliness layer has been poured and dried and was sealed with bitumen sheets. Right now, the insulation is being spread and the formwork is being built. Tomorrow the rebar will arrive and on Monday the concrete. Hopefully the basement will be finished by Christmas.

It is on the blinding layer, not on the slab. The slab goes on top of it, I would say.

The foundation is yet to come. Under the insulation, there is only the leveling layer. If no boards are used for insulation, it usually goes underneath.

Look forward to being able to walk through your house with dry feet. Especially the effect upstairs is then quite different.

What are the exterior dimensions of your house? It looks very narrow... but it can also be deceptive. Our house is only 7.6m wide as well, but it rarely seemed that narrow. It was always framed by trees and the neighbor's house.
