I am, in a benevolent way, ;-) a little jealous. We would have loved to build a bungalow, but our plot/the building window was too small for it. And you even already have trees. We have to plant all the trees ourselves. For us, the delivery of the gas condensing boiler is causing difficulties; otherwise, the handover of the house is also scheduled for mid/end of July according to the construction plan. Gradually, the cozy feeling is spreading that not much can go wrong now ... the forum, in this one exceptional case, please do not prove me wrong. ;-) I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you.

It looks like you are building in a Center Parcs! I immediately feel relaxed! ;-)

It's just a place with a tree preservation order. As a precaution, we cleared 90% of the property (about 1,500 sqm) and carried out the replacement planting. When designing the garden (about 900 sqm at the back; 45x20), we will definitely plant several more trees. At the front, we then have about 270 sqm (13.5x20) for carport, driveway, etc. The only downside of the property, if you can call it that, is the width of 20m.

On the left is still a forest plot, but the future neighbor probably plans to build there next year. On the right, it is already built up. The neighbor is a gardener and managing director of a landscaping company. That's why we will put up a high fence there so we don't get stressed about his beautiful garden *joke* :cool:

A fence will be installed in July/at the latest. The company has already been selected. It will be in that form. The terrace will also be built. Those are the two most important things. The rest will come gradually.

We are having difficulties with the delivery of the gas condensing boiler, otherwise according to the construction schedule the house handover for us is also mid/end of July. Gradually, the pleasant feeling is spreading with us that now not much can go wrong anymore ... the forum should please not prove me wrong in this one exceptional case. ;-)
