An update from me as well. Our roof is almost fully tiled and we are so glad that we decided on these tiles despite the significant extra cost. We think it looks really beautiful... once the facade also has the matching color...

: Despite a big buffer, on the first morning we immediately had visits from three craftsmen, including the installation of the front door. That is quickly forgotten.

It looks super stylish! Congratulations on moving in.

It looks very cool, especially the color of the roof tiles. What exterior color are you choosing for it?

Completion planned for mid-February
Move-in mid-February
However, pressure from the beginning and did not ease

Kitchen had 1 board that did not fit
Correction the day after acceptance is considered finished without rework

A fairly light beige-orange-brown... should actually match very well together

Our only sink at the beginning was also the one in the guest bathroom – and that only because my husband installed it (we simply liked the Ikea sink best – also in terms of price-performance ratio). Otherwise, we would have kept the faucet outside the door...

That was our rescue:

Very pretty! What facade color is planned?

Ah:

...even though I can’t really imagine anything under that description, and if I do, then rather something very weird *lol*, but I think it will fit. Now it sounds like coffee melange with sea buckthorn juice

OVERACHIEVER!!!!

Also, I still wanted to throw something into the pantry-yes-or-no debate.
We have a pantry – no discussion for me.

For those who remember: disguised behind a kitchen cabinet door, you go directly from the kitchen into the pantry:

And honestly, all the stuff I have stored there, I don’t want to put into drawers and cabinets.

And the freezer cabinet is also conveniently within reach (and saves me a freezer compartment in the fridge, which would make it bigger again)

Also, our lighting guy was back yesterday. Now we also have our exterior lights on the balcony:

The little dark boxes right and left of the large window. These are up-and-down lights and the angle can be adjusted individually. We would also do that – if there was power on them *grmpf*
Today our electrician is coming again; he’s supposed to just turn on the power everywhere now. If he has safety concerns, then please protect all cables with terminal blocks.
The railing will not stay like this – solar panels will be mounted on the front, and around it our facade cladding. Inside I don’t find the railing that great either, we’ll see what else I come up with.
On the open side, the balcony will be extended to the property boundary and will turn left around the corner into the terrace. But that’s still a plan for the future. As long as the backyard is still a construction site and still needs to be bricked, the balcony stays as it is. We still have to drive construction equipment back there, and it doesn’t make sense to build further now. It was primarily installed now so that we can install the solar panels.

And in the main bathroom we now also have our main light!!!!

And as you can see: it even works! Hip hip hurrayyyyy!
It was a good choice; the light pointing upwards really lights up the roof peak nicely and makes a great light.

This week the electric heater for the bathroom should finally arrive and attached to it will be our towel holders for the shower towels; then we can finally hang them up and don’t have to drape them on the shower partition and bathtub edge anymore

And here’s a picture of my two moved-in kitties in their current main hangout, our bedroom:

At least not UNDER the bed this time! But yesterday was pretty quiet in the house anyway, only the lighting guy was here in the morning. That was rather relaxing for the two of them.
