House Pictures Chat Corner - Show off your house pictures!

All interior walls are now up with us, even though we still have to put in a few studs ourselves.
But the house is closed, and our site manager has left.

We are insulating the exterior walls ourselves and are also doing the drywall / paneling of the interior walls. We are working hard on that. The electrician wants walls paneled on one side by the end of April.
We already had the preliminary plumbing installation; now they are waiting for all walls to be prepared with the first panel / two planks. Then the underfloor heating will go in.

In the pictures, you can also see a lot of chaos.

And there are pictures too (oh, and my foot was allowed to walk again after 3 weeks!)

The fluffy stuff you see there is stuffing hemp. It processes quite well but creates a lot of dust.

That looks very, very pretty, and the beautiful, light wood inside everywhere really amazes me, :) that can partly remain open and visible, right? Will the trees also remain standing? That would be great.

the ceilings will stay as they are and almost all exterior walls will be clad, that is covered with wood. Some of the interior walls as well. A few will get wallpaper and some will remain white.

We also want to keep the wooden house character inside.

That also means less drywall, filling and sanding. "Just" planks and one coat of glaze.

All the trees will remain standing!

Right behind the house there is a forest, which is also a nature reserve. A tiny part of it belongs to us as well (forest, not nature reserve). And we ourselves have already planted a total of 9 trees (2x apple, 2x pear, 2x cherry, 1 aspen, 1 hornbeam and 1 field maple).

There will be about 30 meters of wildlife protection hedge to follow and 1 or 2 more fruit trees. We are really lucky with our 1055 sqm!
