I would guess Venetian blinds, possibly integrated into the facade.

Edit: Sorry, was too slow. Please ignore this post [emoji51]

We had two appointments that day to look at parquet flooring. This was in Gefäll and in Nüdlingen near Bad Kissingen. And as I was driving through, I thought to myself: “Hey, you’ve seen that house in the forum before.”

What a great coincidence.

But it’s nice to see that we’re not the only ones who don’t build in the “big” cities/metropolitan areas.
For us, it’s always something comforting to be able to go home to the countryside after work.

Do you live nearby or are you building with Wolf Haus? Our parquet also comes from Nüdlingen. It should be installed next week.

I really liked the city in my early 20s during my passionate and hectic time. I had lived in Augsburg for a few years. Now I prefer the countryside. Quiet, peaceful, almost no break-ins, hardly any crime, and simply unbeatable with children. Garden, space, no waiting lists for daycare & co, no one minds the noise.

What is so bad about them - the size or that they are white? - everywhere the gray-brown jumbo format also quickly becomes boring, consistently monotonous even within just one floor I would find less nice than occasionally such variants in between, which already existed in an earlier decade.

It says right there: you see everything on it. (I once had them) I never said that jumbo tiles are the only true choice.

But definitely a continuous tiling pattern as a whole looks more spacious and elegant.

The bargain price of 9.90 compared to the main tile may save a few hundred euros in area, but I bet you will regret this later.

Here, opinions are also expressed bluntly.

I don't find different floor coverings great either, especially when it gets so messy, but to each their own. For me, mostly.
