I totally understand your frustration, that would drive me crazy too. But honestly, I believe if you leave it as it is now, you won't notice it anymore in six months. Just deduct another 2% discount credit and that’s that. Or you have it planed lengthwise again. But will it really be much better then?

That can’t stay like this, it really bothers me a lot. I actually think it needs to be sprayed instead of rolled.

Rolling lengthwise might be an alternative, it’s just 10.6m... spraying would probably be easier, he also has the machine for it, everything was airless-skimmed over the entire surface back then.

My painter has very high standards, I trust him completely, and it bothers him just as much as it does me.
