I have been a silent reader of the house construction forum for a long time and was able to learn quite a bit from others. After a longer preparation and planning period, during which unfortunately not everything went smoothly and we even changed architects in the meantime, things finally started for us.
At the beginning of February, the long wait finally came to an end and there was the first visible progress at the construction site. The surveyor set the stakes on the building plot.
Then, a week ago, the earthworks finally began. The topsoil was removed
At the end of the day, the construction fence was erected
Over the weekend the construction site was covered in snow
This week, work continued and the excavation for the basement was completed. Here is the result after the 4th day
The rest of the week was used by the shell builder to set the sewage shaft and to set up the construction power box
In the meantime, the construction power box has also been connected and the surveyor has erected the batter frame.
Next week, the shell construction work is supposed to start. We are now going on vacation for a week and are excited to see what has happened at the construction site by the time we return.
