What kind of grid is that on the mats? 10cm or 5cm? I can't really tell. Was there a design based on room-specific heating load calculation?

No idea, I don't think so. We planned an air-to-water heat pump with 35°C flow temperature. Therefore, this underfloor heating system was offered/recommended to us. It was roughly explained to us that the floor loops run closer together than in the standard system. If you google "System N16," you find a huge PDF document from the company with a lot of technical jargon (which I unfortunately don't understand).

Without having googled, it first looks like a pretty normal system. The installation spacing would be interesting. It’s either 20cm or 10cm. Does it look the same distance-wise in your bathrooms? 35 degrees supply temperature is not particularly great for a new building. What do you heat with? Gas? Air-to-water heat pump? (sorry, maybe you’ve already written somewhere). I’m just asking because in the living area that might not be so bad, but if you have the combo of bathrooms 20cm, air-to-water heat pump, 35 degrees supply, plus a heating buffer, then that would be, to put it mildly, suboptimal.

We heat with an air-to-water heat pump (Tecalor THZ504). The pipe spacing is not specified concretely in the contract. For the normal underfloor heating, the contract states "pipe spacing according to heat demand." In the document for the N16 system, there are PA8 / 16 / 24 / 32. Those are cm measurements, but I don’t know exactly where what was installed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see the bathroom either; when we were at the construction site, the company was already finished, so there was no ladder available, and I didn’t want to enter the house while the wiring was still there and there was no screed yet.

What is meant by heating buffer? I don’t think we have 20cm spacing, certainly not in the bathroom.
I’m not familiar with the exact planning of the heating load calculation; we’re building with a construction manager, precisely because we are laypeople in such matters.

The 100m was accepted by the approval authority without batting an eye? For anything >95m they already suspect mining law here and look very, very closely.
