Really a beautiful house! But I keep wondering why the plasterers can’t do their job properly...

We also plastered our upper floor and in the evening with the lighting on the house it’s an absolute horror! I have decided to cover the uplights...

If I imagine that our entire house looked like that, I would have cried.

It’s a pity that you can even see the waves during the day :-(

How many waves in the exterior plaster must be accepted?

The cause is the thin-layer plaster system, usually on ETICS. Even if the panels are ground as flat as possible, the rest is still craftsmanship and within exceptionally generous tolerances.

And raking light is a bitch.

Facade lighting almost always looks dumb, not to mention the light pollution. Save the money.

Thank you very much!
That motivates me to show the further progress of the project here.

It’s just craftsmanship that you can especially see with grazing light. I don’t know any house where it’s different. Ours doesn’t even have ETICS on the facade. I think it somehow makes the house more alive, or at least that’s what I tell myself.

I would call that an "eyecatcher," sounds kind of fancy.

It also wasn't a criticism of your house. It's just that I keep noticing it. Unfortunately!

We also don't have ETICS...

But I know a house where the plaster is completely smooth! However, the same thick-layer procedure was used there as with the interior plaster! It looks absolutely amazing!
