The shell construction will definitely be finished. But it probably won't be weather-tight anymore. I don't know how long the trades disappear into the Christmas holidays at your place, but with us it doesn't continue until January 7th. Three weeks of an open shell construction, I don't know...

actually the best thing you can do. If you have time, you should leave the shell construction open all winter and continue building in April.

You are confusing something... open is not the same as open! Completely open without a roof is exactly the opposite of good for a shell construction over a longer period in winter. Open, meaning no windows and front door but sealed with a roof, is exactly what is good! Unfortunately, in most cases you can't choose that if you start building in late autumn.

Roof and windows are planned for the end of January, as we expect the coldest temperatures in January. I have heard the same as Lumpi wrote, the greater the temperature differences, the better. Although that is always a matter of belief.

Well, I'm not confusing it, that's what I mean. Maybe it came across as misunderstood.

Then you just have to keep believing or simply google it. Basically, you can just make do with an oversized tarp. If it doesn’t rain or snow from now until the roof is installed, then Lumpi would of course be right. As for me, I’m glad that the roof will be raised tomorrow. Today the gables are being built. Photos will come tomorrow.
