Another trend that Gene Roddenberry foresaw - though he called it Holodeck. Very nice. If that comes onto the market for private use, I'll have one installed too. :cool:;)
Mega! I'm already looking forward to putting a nice old CRT in my basement room for my SNES. I don't have space for that right now and the SNES has already gathered a lot of dust.
The children's rooms will also soon be empty and there I will first set up a nice sterile VR room.

A corner for the PC, a couch corner for my 100Hz Metz tube /+ the small 50Hz Trinitron and the old consoles, and a 3x3m spot left free for VR gaming. From the wooden support to the door it’s 3.5m. And in width, even a bit more than 3m should be left. :D a room of one’s own for the hobby... A dream come true.
Currently still used as a storage room until we’re fully moved in someday.
I expect a big board above the door where you write down how many times you've already full-on bumped your head into the post while VR gaming. ;)
