regarding a changed acoustics I could not notice anything yet, however I must admit that I was not at home for long yesterday and the wall is still so new that I first have to gain experience in everyday life.

How did you actually come up with tiles? Normally, when you think of a wall, you first think of wallpaper or paint if you want to change something, and not directly of tiles. I also have to say that it looks better than expected. In your first photo, the tiles appeared much darker and grayer.

I also think it's very nice. When we were building, our tiler said, "actually, you should tile the stairwell wall too." At the time, I thought it was a joke and had the small wall tiles of our bathrooms in mind. Every time the stairwell is painted, I remember that it would have been a good idea – but with tiles as beautiful as yours.
