We were on the construction site today and to our surprise already found doors and windows installed, as well as a covered roof.

I was a bit concerned about the window frames; is it normal for them to look so scratched/dirty? Our neighbors have some kind of foil over theirs, but ours don't have any foil and they all look like this, with the black spots and so on. :/

If there is no film over it and it cannot be wiped off, I would complain about it.

Looks like scratches in the plastic, which really shouldn’t be the case!

I will never understand why the window installer, who usually also delivers the windows, doesn't see this or deliberately overlooks it! He must be aware that everyone complains about this and that he has to uninstall the windows again.

Many window installers nowadays see themselves as just screw-in installers and foamers. But why did you order shaved windows for the beautiful pointed arch window openings?

I believe some companies then simply try to circumvent this with a credit note.
At friends’ place, the wrong tiles were placed on the roof.
Instead of an exchange, there was simply a credit note of €4,000. Re-roofing would have been too complicated.
