When choosing the handles, we actually ended up going even cheaper than planned, because the often popular bar handles didn’t appeal to us at all in the preview. Industrial design is all the rage right now - it puts function in the foreground!

I think good design always has high functionality. If I have to give up function for design, then I don't care about it.

And in the end, all these things also come down to personal taste to some extent. I don’t really like the staircase according to the pictures either, but it mainly has to please the client. The same applies to the kitchen!

The staircase unfortunately exudes an 80s terraced house middle unit charm and somehow doesn't really match the rest of the house. But tastes are, as we know, different.

I wonder how long it would take if a builder were to build exactly according to user specifications from this forum ......... is it even possible?!

That's the point ... anyone can sell a show kitchen, but offering a "practical" show kitchen, that's the art
