Even a "normal" (house) door has points of attack :) I was just told that there might possibly be problems on the sunny side. It should be obvious that such a sensor can't reliably work with dirty fingers. Maybe one should ask themselves whether they use fingerprint scanning on their phone. It should work just as reliably at the front door. eKey apparently has a good reputation. However, I haven't looked into it closely yet. What makes eKey so special? Currently, I am rather against a fingerprint sensor. You know that every IT system has points of attack. The question then is whether your installed system regularly does firmware updates or such. In addition, fingerprint sensors often have problems in cold weather, dirty fingers, etc. (which I have seen in other houses where people often had to swipe 2-4 times...)
Well, our "backup kitchen" in the garage is used relatively rarely. Specifically, when something needs to roast for a longer time in an oven or when we have a garage party. Otherwise, there is definitely life in our kitchen :)On the topic of backup kitchen: this is not uncommon for people who see their kitchen as a show kitchen and don’t want appliances lying around so that they could always shoot a catalog photo? But you do live in the house, especially in the kitchen, so daily use appliances are allowed to be lying around there
