You are absolutely right, it gets dirty quite quickly. Faster than I thought.
That's why we will probably have to do something about it. So far, it’s just normal paint and after 2 months, you can already see quite a few signs of use.

I would add a cover to the "Handlauf". Additionally, I find the sections without a railing very dangerous. At least for small children and the elderly. The stairwell walls will also not stay as clean for long. Otherwise, I like the combination with the wood.

On the "handrails" there is a glass pane, like on the window sills. We have deliberately refrained from using railings. If it ever becomes necessary, something like that can be retrofitted right away.
