It's nice to have the choice.

I need the rotating round head to reach the so-called wisdom teeth at the back. If I didn't take proper care of them, they would probably have to be removed.
The toothpaste is strongly recommended by the doctor due to enamel problems.
I therefore stick to the few plastic heads per year; they are exceptionally worthwhile for me. In my own ecological balance, they likely make up a negligible amount (just like plastic straws, which I still have and use when I need them).

If you already have to justify plastic toothbrushes now, it's getting tiring, isn't it? This eco-socialism is just starting to gain real momentum, I fear.

Hehe, yes, definitely. Although I also have to say – and I don’t want to imply that this is the case with the rotating plastic heads ;) – that many people like to make excuses: Yes, you’re right, I make an exception here, but otherwise (!) I act very ecologically. And when you look into the details, you notice that actually almost nothing is given up. The long-distance trip has to happen, otherwise you can't relax and/or show off great, exotic holiday pictures, the zero-waste store is around the corner, but then you possibly still have to go to Edeka for special things, which would be inconvenient, cycling yes, but only with the e-bike and only in leisure time, not to get to work, and it’s so much more comfortable to get into the SUV than a regular car, the phone is already two years old anyway, so a new one is absolutely necessary, etc. Building a house is a whole other story ;)

I don’t want to exempt myself here, but people really rarely truly give things up. In my circle of acquaintances, maybe max. 2-3 households (depending on the definition). Future generations will have to deal with the consequences – which also makes not giving up today much more comfortable.

Alright, enough bashing for today. Sorry :D

True. You don't have to justify it. No bashing from me.
