Eddy is 12 and for a hunting dog-hunting dog-hunting dog mix with a greyhound running style, he is good with food; for a labrador that would be bad. :p He used to pull cyclists wearing a harness at over 50 km/h on the bike speedometer. Today he prefers to pull more leisurely.

For us, the electric roller shutter control was important, and we have not regretted it, even though a few thousand euros changed hands for a total of 25 (!) windows and doors. The living/dining area has quite a few window/door elements, and in summer it's quite practical to be able to automatically shade the rooms. In the evenings and mornings, everything goes down or up automatically. You can get used to it :). So we have "Smart-Home-Light". In the future, it will be expanded somewhat in the area of lighting control ...

Complete control using KNX and everything related quickly reaches the lower five-figure (cost) range in a typical single-family home.

We have two sockets in our guest bathroom. They have saved us quite a few times.

This color was already available in the GDR and was often used on the EW65B house type (which doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing...) :)

In the GDR, were there standard designations for houses?
Is that some kind of roughcast plaster (very coarse-grained)? I still have that on two houses here (still).

I don't know that one at all (meaning the addition "B").

At least for garden houses as kits, but for the EW65 "house" would be the wrong term, "construction plan kit" would be more appropriate, because you had to organize the materials (and the helpers) yourself. However, there were also complete prefabricated houses (from Neckermann, if I remember correctly, meaning the manufacturer would have had to be Streif Haus house), for West German money, from the Genex catalog.

In the west, the Neckermann houses were from Streif Haus. Was it the same “over there”?
