I don't see any at all, probably because they are cut off? How should it be done properly? You can hardly just leave them standing.

Yes, the edge insulation strips must be left in place until after grouting to prevent the floor from forming a connection with the wall. Only after grouting can the insulation strip be cut off and scraped out/melted back to fill the joint between the baseboard/wall and the floor with an elastic sealant.

Yes, you can always get annoyed about that. On the other hand, it has been years since I last saw a floor covering pressed against the wall. The installer must be a bit stupid for that He can also simply keep a 1 cm gap and that's it.

Make sure that no tile touches the wall directly and that no crumbs of tile adhesive are in between.

Only it is so difficult to prevent contact from the adhesive to the wall or when grouting from the grout to the wall. This creates a sound bridge.
