I would think you could still put a cabinet under there. I’m not a carpenter, but I’ve learned a thing or two. Everything is possible. It’s just a question of the person doing the work and, not least, the money. I could imagine it would be more expensive than doing it directly with it.

We paid just under €8K per cabinet including VAT. A lot of money, but I think it was well invested.

My wife just looked up the offer again. So I have to correct myself. Per piece including installation about €8.7K.

To be honest, it was a long-standing question whether we wanted to afford it and, last but not least, whether we could even manage it. We also do *not* “have it.” We were simply lucky with my wife’s condominium built in 2010, which we were able to sell in 2020 for twice what it cost back then. Apart from the BAFA subsidy, everything is now gone. Additionally, there is the ground lease at 900€ per month.
With a conventional financing, that would never (!) have worked out well.
We were simply lucky and are very grateful for that.

So the cabinets are really beautiful, but since the staircase already cost 3K more than in the original (of course not fitting) plan, I am now building the "under-stair cabinet" myself.

On Wednesday I wrote "Estimated from about 300m² of flooring to be laid, almost half done. Everything must be finished by the end of next week."
Now, thanks to some help, we have already installed all the vinyl floors today and only about 50m² of click parquet remain, which we will start tomorrow morning ;)

On the last 12cm towards the bathroom, a few millimeters of height difference were leveled by filling and now only an elastic joint will be installed here – done.

Simulated "toilet seat view" on the upper floor

And the landscaping gardeners were already here and have started:

By the way, my wallpaper choice was acknowledged with very strange looks and tones :p

... only 23 days left ...
