We have now been living in our house for the seventh year. The garden is now lush and the trees in the front yard have also grown considerably…

Dear forum,

Now I am posting something as well, after reading along here for a very long time.

Last September we bought a holiday home with a larger plot of land on an Italian island. Since then, we have been renovating little by little, as time, money, and the availability of craftsmen allow or circumstances require. Since the week before last, we finally have a new kitchen as well. I had also considered creating a separate thread for it. Maybe some of you are interested, and it would also be a good record for us. Questions will surely arise. Here are a few first pictures to liven up this thread, which I also always like to follow.

Cool, beautiful houses here! It would be nice if the thread continues regularly like this. Surely there is still some inspiration for everyone.

After we moved into our old building with a beautiful garden in December/January, here are a few pictures as well. I probably have to provide some more inside pictures later, haven't found any recent ones since everything was completed (lamps...).
We completely renovated the ground floor, otherwise I am in the process of renewing the basement rooms (electrics, windows, partially painting).
In spring, we greened the balcony again and retrofitted a water supply with a groundwater pump, so now we can water both upstairs and downstairs in the garden.

What kind of lamps/spotlights are those in your kitchen? Not by any chance the Ribag Vior? They look somehow like that. If yes, how well do they illuminate; would one of those be able to light a 10sqm (3.2*3.2m) room? If not, which ones are they then, and same question regarding illumination!

They are exactly the ones you described.

I can take a photo in the dark to show how it looks here. The kitchen is already quite bright, but we have three lights in the hallway with about 15 sqm. So I would imagine one might be a bit tight.

Below is the lamp info.
