Today we started the fascia and applied a coat of paint on the first plaster. But I don't actually know what the coat is for [emoji848]

I don’t have a better one right now. To the right and in front of the conservatory, it’s about 1.2m, between the pergola and the conservatory 3.4m. Overall dimensions with pergola: approx. 13x5.2m

PS: In the 3D view, you can see it nicely from above again.

Photos from today. On Monday, the surveyor will come for the interim inspection of the shell construction.

Is it normal for bitumen sheets to already be laid for such an interim inspection, as shown here? I had spoken to the site manager, saying I was curious whether the unevenness in the concrete floor would be within the specified tolerances, and promptly, one day later, the bitumen sheet was laid on it... or is that a coincidence?

And by your words I had imagined slanted planes or bowls, but at least reasonably smooth on the surface. Here it looks like scar tissue, as if the concrete pudding had clumped quite a bit :-(

Yes, that looks bad. Under the bitumen sheets, it looks even worse in some places.

If I'm unlucky, they will also close the still open areas tomorrow before the inspector's appointment.

I'm curious how the inspector will react to that and whether there will be a construction stop.

The question I ask myself is why they are even applying a waterproofing membrane. This is usually only used for parts in contact with the ground (typically in the basement and if there is no basement, on the ground floor), but since you have a basement below, there shouldn’t be any membrane needed....

Anyway, it doesn’t look particularly serious to me. It’s just the lifting point of the scraper when removing it. You see this kind of thing more often; I don’t find it particularly dramatic. I’m curious to see what the expert will say.
