I still find a fence made of simple untreated wooden slats the most beautiful. Do you always absolutely need foundations for such a wooden slat fence? It should be significantly cheaper (without foundations) than a WPC privacy screen or something like that!?

Yes, a slat fence would be the cheaper alternative. I think you have to put in foundations in any case. WPC is certainly the "luxury version" but does not need to be maintained in the classic way.

I meant more something natural untreated. Or with equally strong slats.

Alright, then we have talked past each other. Of course, this only serves the "fence" function. I, for example, do not find WPC / plastic things beautiful and not as a "luxury version".
