I think it's a great alternative to wooden floorboards if you want the wood look but don't dare go for real wood because of kids and daily cleaning, and plastic-looking options like laminate are not an option. I clean twice a day, which wouldn't be possible with wood. So unfortunately, cork was also off the table.
Besides, we have 5-10 kids in the house every day. I don't want to have to constantly remind them to be careful with the floor. And regular tiles would look too cold for the living areas.
Oh, just to explain, we are getting the wood-look tiles throughout the entire upper floor because I only want one type of flooring up there.
But basically, it doesn't really matter. We like the tiles extremely much and that's how it should be.
Müllerin, the paving looks great!

Wow so many new pictures!

For example, I don’t like tiled stairs, I always associate them with a stairwell.

Cobblestones look good, the tiles are also not my taste, but I would say well installed

We didn’t want the eternally gray or anthracite paving that everyone has. I was a bit worried that it might be too colorful next to the clinker, but it fits very well. And they also laid it properly.

The tiles – well, I knew that they wouldn’t exactly be to everyone’s taste *g
We didn’t want beige-brown or gray-white. I wanted a blue bathroom. And there were a few other colors in the series, so we also took green. And once the furniture is in, it won’t dominate so much anyway.
The tiler was super meticulous, I hope the bathroom turns out the same. He was also happy that he got to lay something colorful for once.

I understand the confusion about our construction more and more...

In other regions the exterior plaster actually comes much earlier than with us. Tilers, painters, carpenters, etc. are finished inside, exterior plaster still not visible...

Interesting the different sequences!

All nice pictures here!

Josefine, in our residential area there are also some houses that have been without plaster for years. Is that how it’s done? What is your plan? Our plaster was planned for June, but couldn’t be applied because the structural builder didn’t hurry with the sealing. So we are actually late. Mulleein, I somehow find your tiles cool. White furniture would go well with them, I think. What are you planning for that?
