The blooming splendor is already present in the topping-out ceremony picture. We built into an older gap between buildings, and the garden was previously maintained by the neighbors (relatives of the previous owner). In the picture from the topping-out ceremony, everything was just cut back very much, as the picture is from December/January.

Without it, you would definitely have had more space for a large wardrobe or other important things, while the usefulness of this door is hardly there because your front door is nearby anyway. It doesn’t rain as often as you think. And in at most a year, the door will be filled up so that it can’t be used. If it is even usable now, when you park and then want to use this door for big shopping and probably end up in a narrow corridor.

That is all correct so far, but since I come from a family that never had a car parked in the garage, it is more our alternative cellar. I don’t know it any other way. Apart from bicycles and my motorcycle, there will probably never be anything drivable inside. Oh, and the door leads to the utility room.

Can someone now explain the disadvantages of floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor? Let's not die ignorant

We don’t want to let you die stupid, but happy

No kidding, the only "disadvantage" so far was that my wife forced me to buy pleated blinds for the window right before moving in, because otherwise you could have looked into the bathroom from below. Oh, and cleaning is a bit more complicated because the bottom part is fixed for us.

Otherwise, I’m really satisfied with the windows.
