With side access to the shower, the drain must be installed laterally up to the front/side exit according to this concept. With direct access to the shower from the front, the drain is placed at the front.

There are no corner strips in the niches because the tiles were ground down, making the strip unnecessary. It looks better visually.

The bathroom is large enough, and this way you can look outside through the two windows in the bathroom. The tub is, of course, surrounded by tiles.

The thing with the shower drain and the slope leading into the room will never ever work in practice! The water will definitely run into your bathroom. Who is selling you such a stupid idea!?

I’ll have to disagree and ask: Why should it? For the water to run over the shower drain, more water must come from the showerhead than the drain can handle.

This either happens because of a clog in the drain, or it is not properly chosen.
I actually can’t imagine the latter, as long as it’s a normal shower and not a car wash.

I find it unusual, but I don’t really see any reason why it shouldn’t work.
With your argument, it would mean that water would always stand at the drain on the wall. But it doesn’t.

It certainly works, it just doesn't stop splashing water.
