I wouldn't have thought that a quickly and provisionally sown flower meadow could look so great... actually, we just wanted to avoid it looking too much like a construction site and to prevent the nettles from growing too wild until we can start with the outdoor facilities. Honestly, I wouldn't want to have a traditional garden anymore but rather sow everything like this. It's definitely low-maintenance.

Wow... I would also love to have a meadow like that at our place. I find it much nicer than gravel gardens, boxwood, and [bei uns mittlerweile omnipräsenten Hortensien].

And rhododendrons ... they are common and “overgrow” in Upper Franconia.
I will probably also need a hydrangea and a rhododendron then.
